Alfredo was born in Madera, California but grew up in his parents' corn and sorghum farm in Mexico. At a young age he returned to his native country to harvest a variety of vegetables. He also expanded his knowledge and experience working in a mushroom farm. After that, he finally decided to focus on growing tomatoes. There after he held his own personal business buying and reselling tomatoes with a box truck for seven years. In 1997, Alfredo ventured to buy his first crop and, every year after he tried to expand. This steady growth took him to Tennessee, Florida, South Carolina, and North Carolina. In 2002, Sandoval Produce was incorporated and in 2008 Alfredo was hired by L&M to manage and market all their vine ripe tomato sales.
Martha Sandoval

Administration Manager
Martha was born in Guanajuato, Mexico and she also grew up on a family owned farm. When she married Alfredo and moved to the United States, she brought her knowledge of farming operations as well as her administrative skills. Martha has continually kept gaining knowledge at a scale that allowed her to manage all administrative aspects of the family business. In October 2011, Martha became a member and director of the Hispanic Women in Agriculture Coop, Inc.
